Τhe "Center of Teaching and Learning" provides teaching and learning support to anyone interested in upgrading their teaching work and it provides information informing about the modern trends in university pedagogy.
The purpose of the operation of CTL is to provide instructions, advice and tools to the members of the teaching staff of University of Thessaly, in order to aid them in areaw such as the effective design, teaching and evaluation of their courses, as well as the improvement of teaching methods by developing modern and effective educational activities. This will be achieved through the use of the ICT in the teaching of university courses in order to create learning environments that facilitate and support learning.
Educational Function
The educational function of the Center includes the implementation of programs in collaboration with faculty members and laboratories of the University of Thessaly, as well as with Centers, Offices and other Institutions that operate in Greece and abroad, and whose object is teaching and learning, with the aim of exchanging the know-how regarding modern educational approaches and the use of ICT.
